Huge thank you to the Los Altos High School Debut Club for their participation in our 2012 Holiday Window Display Contest. Each week, we featured one of their designers as they created their outfit ensembles and dressed our window mannequins. 

The winner of the contest is Elise Hu. She received the most public votes online thru our Facebook Fan Page.Congratulations Elise! Please check out their work along with Michelle Deng, Janna Wang, and Jennifer Helguera on our Facebook Page.  

They all did a spectacular job and the competition was tight. Elise Hu receives the 2012 "Apricot Lane Boutique Honorary Stylist Award". Along with that, Elise Hu and her club members will have the opportunity to attend CALA Fashion Show this February in San Francisco. They will be accompanied by Nikoline Bergstrom, owner of Apricot Lane Los Altos. The Debut Fashion Club will get to see the newest and hottest trends before they hit the market.  

We enjoyed working with the club and look forward to future events with them.

We hope that you are enjoying the festivities of the holiday and spending some memorable times with your loved ones. Downtown Los Altos is beautiful this time of year with all the lights and decorations, so grab a cup of hot chocolate or cup of coffee, take a stroll through the streets, and enjoy the sights. We still have 12 Days of Christmas Sale going on thru Monday, Christmas Eve. We hope that you are able to take advantage of the special huge discounts...from jeans, to jewelry, dresses, tops, and stocking stuffers, there's surely something for everyone.

Last, we want to thank you all for your continued support and patronage. This year was truly a wonderful experience for us and our family. We love being in Los Altos and look forward to meeting each of you personally at our special events throughtout the year.

Los Altos High School Holiday Window Display

 Stop by and check out the holiday window displays and outfits our local high school designers from Los Altos High School have created. Each week, we will feature a student (Jennifer Helguera,  Elise Hu, Michelle Deng , Janna Wang) from the LAHS Debut Fashion Club. They will select outfits and accessories to creatively design our store windows.

A picture of the window design for each week will go up on the Apricot Lane Facebook Page and will stay up on the site for the duration of the contest.  Voting will take place from12/30/12 to 1/5/13 online through our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ApricotLaneLosAltos. You can also vote by dropping in at the store. The winner will be announced on 1/7/2012. As a reward for their hard work and dedication, Apricot Lane Los Altos is awarding the club with a trip to San Francisco CALA Fashion Trade Show where they will get an advance sneak peek at the hottest fashion trends to come. They will walk side by side with our buyers and learn how merchandise is brought into our stores. Our mission is to inspire our local young artists that hard work and dedication pays off. By mentoring them and exposing them to the "real-life" fashion industry, we hope that they will learn and discover which career path they want to excel in. Please show them your support and stop by our store to vote or visit our Facebook page.

We have new items coming in each week. If you don't know what to get your wife, aunt, daughter, mom, or friend, ask one of our sales associates. They will know how to match the clothes to their personal style.  If you haven't "LIKED US" on Facebook yet, do so as soon as possible because we will be announcing daily specials during the "12 Days of Christmas" starting December 13th.

Many thanks to all our loyal customers that came out to raise awareness and support our cause this past Sunday, November 10. 2012. We had a wonderful time socializing and getting to know you and hope that you enjoyed the festivities.  All funds will help the Primary Immunodeficiency Program and Lucille Packard Children's hospital.

Big congratulations to our Raffle Prize Winner, Mary Ann Kusalo. She won the 5-day stay at the Atlantis Resort located in the Bahamas.
